MusicBrainz was mentioned on the front page of Digg today and we’ve got 2+ times the normal traffic currently. We’ve brought another web server online in hopes of coping with the onslaught and things look alright currently. But we’re certain people will continue to 503 errors throughout this weekend.
We’re doing out best to keep up. At least we’re still up. 
I can’t find any mention of MusicBrainz on digg recently, how about a link to that story?
MusicBrainz and Picard were mentioned in the article linked from the post Fix your music library:song names, album art, automatically!. That seems to be enough to bring some additional traffic in. Let us just hope that some of those people stay and contribute or possibly donate – and not just tag.
Hopefully they were coughing up $$

Wow just updated to the latest musicbrainz and got the cover download plug in (http://musicbrainz.org/doc/PicardQt/Plugins). Incredible! My job just a lot easier and now my zune can have album covers with out the hassle yay!
